Schießstand Buchhorst / publication / June 2004
In 2004, I, along with some other students, worked on an exhibition at an abandoned shooting range in the forest of Buchhorst, near Braunschweig. We installed sculptures using stones from ruins in memory of the deserters and victims of the 2nd World War. When the project was finished, I decided to keep collecting interviews, photographs, maps and texts by historians to document the place as it is, and was. Photographs overlap like memory. The book was published through the Braunschweig University of Art.
