Distance / 2 screen projection, 2 minutes, Super 8 in collaboration with Deny TriArdianto / 2009
When I went to Canada and my art friend Deny TriArdianto returned to Indonesia, we decided to edit separately the same Super 8 material that we shot together while we had studied in Germany. In this project, the films are viewed next to each other, projected on transparent paper. The films are memories of our friendship and of moments shared together as experimental filmmakers, but also reflect on time using cinematic repetition and non-linear montage.
